The short version

Masquerade Party does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. There is no account, no login, and no network connection required or used to play. Everything the app remembers about your progress stays on your own device.

What the app accesses, and why

Permission	Why it's requested
Camera	Only to let you take a photo for your own in-app detective portrait in the Mask Booth. The photo is processed and stored entirely on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
Photo Library	Only so you can choose an existing photo for the same portrait feature, and to save the finished portrait back to your library if you choose to. No photo is read or used for any other purpose.
Notifications	Local, on-device notifications only — for example, a reminder about an unfinished case, or a note that new content has unlocked. No push notification server is used and nothing is sent off-device to schedule them.

What we don't do

No account creation, sign-in, or user identifiers of any kind.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind.
No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to any third party.
No user-generated content (including Mask Booth portraits) is shared with other players or with us.
No location data is collected.

Where your data lives

Game progress — which clues you've found, which suspects you've interviewed, which endings you've seen, and your Mask Booth portrait — is saved in a local file on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes this data. You can also clear it at any time from Settings → Reset All Progress.

Children's privacy

Masquerade Party is a narrative mystery game involving a fictional murder investigation and is intended for a general teen-and-up audience. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any user at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future update introduces an optional online feature — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
